It’s Valentine’s Day and being the chocolate lover that I am I couldn’t let the day go by without sharing my all-time favorite desserts to celebrate a happy heart day. It might be tradition to gift a box full of chocolates on February 14th, but who wouldn’t adore a freshly baked treat handmade with love?

Nothing says Valentine’s Day more than chocolate and there’s not a single heart out there that can’t be won over with one of these deliciously decadent desserts. Whether you’re baking for the whole fam or just your boo and you, I hope you find a little something to make the day a whole lot sweeter.

Chocolate Milk Cake

Bust out your bundt pans bakers! This rich and decadent Chocolate Milk Bundt Cake is full of moist, fudgy chocolate flavor and is the perfect show stopping dessert to share with your favorite love bugs on Valentine’s Day. Made with real chocolate milk in the cake and the frosting, it’s the ultimate chocolate lover’s dessert.

M&M’s Brownies

Chocolate is my favorite indulgence and I’ll happily pass on an entire heart shaped box of chocolates for just one of these decadently delicious M&M’s brownies. I’ve got four words for you. Love at first bite!

Red Velvet Bundt Cake

True story: I never really liked red velvet cake until I had THIS red velvet cake. It’s rich, tender and made perfectly moist with a melt-in-your-mouth velvety crumb. Topped with a silky smooth cream cheese glaze, this dreamy Bundt will sweep you off your feet!

Flourless Molten Chocolate Cakes

I love a no fuss dessert that only looks fancy. Whip up these flourless molten chocolate cakes in 30 minutes or less. Served in individual ramekins or mini coquettes, they’re perfect for dinner parties and double dates. Don’t forget the ice cream on top!

Chocolate Sugar Cookies

Oh, how I love a sugar cookie! So simple but so satisfying. Give these sugar dusted gems a dunk in melted chocolate and top with sprinkles for a festive touch!

Red Velvet Cupcakes for Two

I don’t know about you, but if I have a dozen cupcakes in the house, I’m going to eat a dozen cupcakes. Enter these red velvet cupcakes for two. Topped with a silky smooth cream cheese frosting that’s literally the icing on the cake! Make one for you and one for your boo. Or two for you, because who’s counting?

Homemade Dark Chocolate Twix Bars

You haven’t lived until you’ve sunk your teeth into one of these homemade bite size twix bars. Crisp, buttery shortbread meets chewy, gooey caramel dipped in a layer of rich, dark chocolate. s-w-o-o-n!

Funfetti Sugar Cookies

Just when you thought you didn’t need another cookie recipe, along came these cute-as-can-be funfetti cookies. They’re nothing fancy but they’re easy to make in a pinch and they never, ever disappoint. I love to add white chocolate chips to the dough for added crunch and sweetness. Just add your favorite sprinkles and dessert is served!

Peanut Butter Cup Brownies

Chocolate and peanut butter are arguably the world’s most delicious duo and these Peanut Butter Cup Brownies are proof positive that no better combo exists. They’re decadent with a capital D!

Mini Cherry Cheesecake Brownies

These mini cherry cheesecakes are made with rich, fudgy brownie bottom, a silky smooth chocolate cherry cheesecake filling, and a decadent layer of dark chocolate ganache. Topped with freshly whipped cream and chocolate shavings, this is one dreamy dessert. Don’t forget the cherry on top!

I’m not drooling, you’re drooling! With just a handful of simple ingredients and zero chill time, these cookie sandwiches will send your heart aflutter this Valentine’s Day.

Neapolitan Pound Cake

Never have I ever seen a cuter pound cake. This fun variation on traditional pound cake combines the classic Neapolitan flavors of chocolate, vanilla and strawberry. Why have one when you can have all three?! I love a drippy, chocolate glaze on top but you can also dust it with a sprinkle of confectioner’s sugar or enjoy it plain with a scoop of creamy vanilla ice cream. The only real question is one slice or two?

*Note: scroll to the bottom of the Vanilla Pound Cake post for this Neapolitan variation.

Great post! But I’m a little confused as to where to find the Neapolitan poundcake recipe… and I checked the chocolate poundcake recipe that’s link, and looked for variations listed somewhere on the post but came up empty handed… I even searched your site for Neapolitan Pound Cake. Maybe I’m missing something obvious?!
