Ever since I was a kid Easter has always been my favorite day out of all three hundred and sixty five. And even though Easter will be a little different this year, I’m still excited to celebrate on Sunday. It’s just forty eight hours until brunch o’clock peeps and it’s no secret that I love a good brunch. Mostly because it’s a perfect excuse to eat dessert for breakfast. If you are looking for an easy and delicious Easter treat to share with your family at home this year, take a peak at this list of my favorites. I hope you find a little something {or a few somethings} that will make your Easter celebration special.

FRENCH MACARONS
These delicate almond cookies with soft and chewy centers and filled with a swirl of sweet buttercream are the prettiest edible goodies ever. They may be the ultimate fancy-pants sandwich cookie and if you’ve been following along for a bit, you know I’m all about a sandwich cookie. And while the words “easy” and “macaron” aren’t often used in the same sentence, take it from me that there is no need to be afraid of this classic little confection. I still consider myself a beginner when it comes to making macarons, but if I can do it, anyone can! I’ve got all the best tips and tricks for the perfect macs in my Beginner’s Guide to French Macarons.
CLASSIC VANILLA POUND CAKE

These soft and fluffy banana cupcakes with cream cheese frosting and fresh blackberry curd are a must make Easter treat. Plus they are gluten free, but you’ll never guess!

You don’t even have to change out of your pj’s. If that’s not a selling point, I don’t know what is!
